However, Suryakumar Yadav and new all-rounder Deepak Chahar, who played impeccably in the just-concluded series, have been ruled out due to injuries. Naturally, the Indian team has to come down with a squad of only 16 players. However, Sanju Samson has returned to the team in a significant way.
